If Obama loses does this prove?
that the amount of money and advertising paid into a campaign means nothing? Obama ads are running all the time, his face is all over internet ads, he his own station re-running his ads 24/7 on dish network. Last month Obama spent ,000 in Florida alone. It has been said that he has spent more money on a campaign then any other president in history. I have seen very few Mccain ads. So if Obama loses does this mean that money spent on campaigning is worthless?

That’s what I would say. Personally, I don’t think advertising like that is good for anything. You end up owing people money, so you go into the presidency with an agenda that has nothing to do with the country. In my opinion, McCain is doing the right thing in regards to that.

Eh, Obama is not going to lose. I think that’s pretty clear.
But what will be lost are people’s jobs.
You know that whole "taxing" issue? Yeah what people fail to recognize is that taxing the business owners means those owners will lose money and won’t want to write out as many paychecks. Translation–the workers will lose jobs. Who are the workers? Middle class people. But no worries, they’ll still have tax cuts and health care. So who needs a job anyways.

I reckon it would mean that the majority of the 50% or so of Americans who will bother to turn up and vote prefered the other guy.
Obama certainly has more money behind him. Kind of odd for an outsider….

Bingo
Money matters not, message matters.
they can play commercials night and day and it will not sway me at all, mostly because commercials present false information.
What sways my vote is fact checkers.

Usually the biggest spender becomes the winner, but if Obama looses, then that just shows you people are not as stupid as we think they are.

It will just prove that America will not vote for a racist. Remember, a racist isn’t just white. The things that Obama and his beast of a wife have done or said about whites is disgusting. I don’t know how people could vote for a man who hates many races. Imagine McCain attended a white supremacist church for 20 years. Case closed for him.

All I have seen in Vermont is McCain ads, so I wouldn’t know. Also 40k in one month for such an important state as Florida seems a small amount, I could see 400k even being reasonable.

If the polls are correct and Obama loses, then we may need the UN to come and monitor our election process.
And that is a sad statement on what we have allowed the process to become. The election isn’t about values and what best for the country – but about POLITICAL POWER.

Can you say R O S S P E R O T ? He was an independent candidate with endless amounts of money, who got tons of media coverage, both paid and unpaid, but didn’t get the presidency.
If Obama loses, it proves nothing except that a) an insufficient number of his supporters turned out or b) there are still shreds of racism in America.

"IF" is the key term here, but what "if" he wins, then it means that he did a pretty good job in proving himself through his advertisement. Would you honestly vote for someone who sits back in the cut and doesn’t make much of an effort to promote himself? I wouldn’t, sounds pretty risky to me…

No. It’s a proven fact that money greases the wheels of political success.
Why is it so bad that the candidates are spending a fortune on their campaigns?
Think about it. The money is paying for jobs, goods and services provided by the thousands of people hired by the campaigns.
Campaign money is flowing back into the economy.
This is a good thing.

He knows that it’s gonna take monumental amounts of cash to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes with advertising featuring his sugar-coated socialist rhetoric. Hopefully, the majority of voters won’t be fooled by this. It will prove that the message means more than well-directed, well-produced, well-scripted, expensive TV ads.

The last election $18 million was spent. That is just a fraction of what Obama has spent. There is too little transparency into the money donated to Obama. He says the donations given to him are all small ones from millions of people so he doesn’t have to list each name. Who is to say that many of these small donations aren’t from the same person? There is no way to prove that.

If Obama loses that means America wanted to see McCain as president. I like seeing all the advertising Obama’s camp as put forth to me it shows where the money everyday people (like you and me) who have donated to his campaign is going towards!

If Obama loses, it will prove that his obamabots escaped his obamamania and voted for McCain. Except the ones who voted early, which Obama encourages so their votes are locked in and it’s too late to change their mind on Nov.4 after all the real facts, truths and proposed policies are finally apparent. If Obama wins, it will be an obamanation! His big spending on campaigning is foresight to all the NEW spending he will do in office and all his supporters will suffer the same 4 years of sad consequences as the McCain supporters will.

You are part of the "right-wing nuts" that the "intelligent" part of the GOP is trying to distance themselves from!
Not to worry, President Obama won’t make you burn your copies of "Mein Kumpf" and the "Tuner Diaries".

is worthless. i think he is going to win, if he looses i think
racism would be the major factor/

Maybe we should be outraged about the amount of money that Obama has spent on advertising. The left is so quick to point out that Gov. Palin spent 150,000.00 on a new wardrobe, That is peanuts compared to the advertising done by Obama.
